Together, we have experienced the rise of the internet, the massive migration of data from on-premises data centers to the cloud, and now, the new wave of AI Agents and intelligent commerce. For Nextlink, this 20-year digital voyage is more than a timeline of technological evolution; it is a story of resilience, adaptation, and team synergy.

As we approach our 20th anniversary, we reflect on our key milestones to show how Nextlink has continuously evolved with market trends to build the robust brand we are today.

Building the Foundation: Navigating Challenges and Early Exploration

Looking back at our roots, Nextlink demonstrated a keen eye for tech trends and a passion for innovation from day one.

In 2008, Nextlink launched GOGOBOX, a social networking site that was ranked among Taiwan’s top 100 websites for three consecutive years, allowing us to build extensive experience in web technology and traffic management. In 2011, driven by deep market insights, we secured the exclusive online broadcasting rights for Major League Baseball (MLB), bringing live games directly to sports fans’ screens. These early web service initiatives provided our team with solid technical capabilities and hands-on operational experience.

As the industry shifted, Nextlink faced critical decisions regarding its strategic direction. However, it was through confronting challenges and adjusting our approach in times of adversity that our team realized a core truth: “Only by mastering forward-looking technology can an enterprise achieve long-term sustainability.” Consequently, Nextlink turned its focus to cloud computing, which was just beginning to emerge at the time.

Between 2012 and 2013, the team launched “BENZCLOUD,” a self-developed, next-generation elastic cloud computing service, which went on to win the national Yushan Award and Golden Peak Award in 2013. This milestone served as a powerful confidence booster for the team during a pivotal transition, laying a rock-solid foundation for Nextlink’s future cloud services.

Entering the Multi-Cloud Era: Expanding Market Horizons

The year 2014 marked a major turning point for Nextlink, as we officially became an AWS partner in Taiwan.

In 2016, Nextlink reached a key milestone by becoming the first AWS Managed Service Partner (MSP) in Taiwan. This achievement not only recognized the team’s exceptional technical and management capabilities but also earned Nextlink a spot among the “Top 25 Most Promising AWS Solution Providers” globally by the prestigious US magazine The CIO Solutions. Concurrently, Nextlink scaled its operations regionally by establishing a branch in Hong Kong. As market adoption of cloud technology surged, the technical expertise accumulated in the early stages paid off, driving business growth firmly onto the right track. From early transformation and exploration to entering the Asia-Pacific market, Nextlink has progressively built a stable, professional, and trusted brand through strategic, phased business expansion.

To offer enterprise customers more comprehensive and flexible architectural choices, Nextlink expanded its technical capabilities. While deepening our core AWS expertise, we strategically broadened our cloud ecosystem footprint. In 2021, Nextlink officially acquired Microfusion Technology as a wholly-owned subsidiary, integrating AWS and Google Cloud resources to fully satisfy our customers’ multi-cloud infrastructure needs.

By 2026, Nextlink reached a new milestone in its global expansion. With Renova Cloud—an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner—officially joining the organization, Nextlink’s service footprint further extends into Southeast Asia. By integrating strategic operations across Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Vietnam, we continue to deepen our expansion across the Asia-Pacific region, laying a more solid foundation for our next phase of growth.

Going Global: Reaching the Next Level of Cloud Expertise

Since launching our global expansion in 2018, Nextlink has rigorously pursued professional technical certifications, using solid technical capabilities to back our business growth.

Starting with the AWS Certified 200 and AWS Migration Competency in 2020, we have continuously secured multiple professional distinctions, including AWS Security and Data & Analytics Competencies. Notably, in 2024, we became the first provider in Taiwan to achieve the AWS Government Competency, followed by the AI Services Competency (Generative AI Consulting level) in 2026. Each certification stands as concrete proof of Nextlink’s commitment to providing customers with secure and reliable technical services.

Alongside technical excellence, Nextlink is dedicated to creating a healthy workplace. We have been recognized for multiple consecutive years with the HR Asia Awards as one of the “Best Companies to Work for in Asia” and have been named to the ChannelE2E global Top 100 MSPs list. This proves that Nextlink is not only a trusted technical expert but also a mature brand in corporate management and talent development, providing a stable environment where our team can thrive.

Nextlink’s collection of AWS MSP status, various Competency certifications, and the HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia awards highlights the team’s outstanding performance in technical expertise and operational management.

Fostering a Dynamic Corporate Culture

Behind our steady growth lies a core belief: delivering high-quality service requires both robust technical backing and a highly aligned, cohesive team.

To achieve this, we promote a flat, transparent communication environment built on “facts,” where open dialogue across all levels is highly encouraged. This ensures that valuable insights can be directly put into practice during projects. This fact-driven approach has made open communication the foundation for Nextlinkers to tackle challenges together.

Outside of work, we encourage a healthy work-life balance through team clubs and company trips, allowing team members to recharge. It is this combination of transparent communication and shared downtime that builds our exceptional team synergy. This is not just a vital part of Nextlink’s internal culture; it is the exact strength that allows us to adapt quickly and support our customers through their most complex requirements.

Nextlink values transparent communication as our cultural cornerstone, empowering our team and customers to move forward together with confidence.

Moving Forward with Stability: Building the Next 20 Years Together

From our initial exploration in 2006, through strategic adjustments, to today’s global footprint and mature cloud ecosystem, every stage of Nextlink’s growth has been fueled by the trust of our clients and the dedication of our team.

No matter how the market shifts, Nextlink will continue to build on the strength and stability cultivated over the past two decades.
